Oia Gran Premio de Ciclismo to host 250 cyclists

The fourth edition of the Gran Premio de Ciclismo – Concello de Oia is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 27, in the Bonaval neighborhood of Burgueira. The event is expected to draw approximately 250 cyclists from Galicia and northern Portugal.

The race will utilize a 2,500-meter semi-urban circuit along the Camiño de Vilariño, a route designed to test both power and technical skill. This event marks the conclusion of the 2026 road cycling season in Galicia and will also determine the winner of the inaugural Copa Criterium.

Key changes for this edition include a shift to a Sunday schedule, with the race starting at 11:00 and concluding around 17:30. The women’s category, covering Cadets, Juniors, Masters, Elite, and U-23, will be a national event and will award points toward the RFEC ranking, representing the final points available for these categories this season.
