Oia hosts traditional puppet theater performance

The Seisdedos Marionetas Tradicionais company will present the show ‘O cego dos monifates’ at the Praza de Abastos in Oia on Sunday, September 20. Part of the +Escénicas program promoted by the Deputación de Pontevedra, the performance is free and intended for all ages.

The production utilizes traditional Galician marionettes, combining humor, music, and social critique to preserve the essence of traveling theater. The event takes place in the recently rehabilitated Praza de Abastos de Santa María de Oia, which serves as a community hub for cultural activities.
