Anar Bayramov introduced as Azerbaijan's new Health Minister

Anar Bayramov has been introduced to the staff of the Ministry of Health following his appointment by presidential decree. The presentation ceremony was led by Deputy Prime Minister Teymur Musayev, who outlined the state's ongoing health policies and the necessity of mobilizing existing resources to meet national objectives.

During the meeting, Bayramov emphasized the importance of utilizing available resources efficiently, organizing activities based on modern management principles, and improving the quality of medical services provided to the population.

Additionally, it was noted that following a presidential decree dated October 19, 2026, the Medical Territorial Units Administration (TƏBİB) has been placed under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health. This structural change aims to improve management mechanisms, enhance inter-agency coordination, and strengthen the institutional development of the healthcare system.
