OIJ officer and suspect injured during Guápiles operation

An officer from the Judicial Investigation Organism (OIJ) and a suspect were injured during an operation in Guápiles, Pococí. The incident occurred when agents from the Organized Crime section were tracking the suspect, resulting in an apparent confrontation between the officers and the individual.

Both the judicial official and the suspect were transported to a medical center. Their current health conditions have not yet been disclosed. This event follows several recent incidents involving OIJ agents being injured during police operations in other regions.
