Oira wins inaugural MSP award on Nippon TV variety show

Impersonator Oira has been awarded the inaugural Most Excellent Swipe Prize (MSP) on the Nippon TV variety program ‘Bakusho Monomane Swipe’. Oira, an artist managed by Ota Pro, has gained significant popularity on social media, accumulating over 200 million views through daily short-form video posts.

During the broadcast, Oira performed an updated version of the ‘person who blinks in reverse’ routine, which had previously been successful on social media. The performer also presented a ‘suspicious aesthetic clinic staff’ routine at the request of actress and former ‘=LOVE’ member Nagisa Saito.

Following the win, Oira expressed gratitude to the staff and stated a desire to use this momentum to pursue more television opportunities, aiming to demonstrate that a successful career can be built starting from social media platforms. Oira is scheduled to hold a solo live performance at Shinjuku Harmonic Hall on November 29.
