Oita Prefecture to open Kunisaki Peninsula pop-up shop in Osaka

Oita Prefecture will host a limited-time antenna shop at KITTE Osaka from November 1 to November 30, 2026. The pop-up shop, located on the second floor in the Gift Pad Space, is timed to coincide with Shochu Day on November 1.

The shop will feature alcoholic beverages from breweries located on the Kunisaki Peninsula, including shochu and sake, as well as liqueurs made with kabosu, processed foods, seasonings, and soft drinks. Featured producers include Minami Shuzo, which offers barley shochu and botanical craft gins, and Kayashima Shuzo, the maker of the representative Oita sake ‘Nishinoseki’.

In addition to promoting local spirits, the initiative highlights the cultural and natural heritage of the Kunisaki Peninsula, including historical sites such as Ryoriji Temple, Monju Senji Temple, and the Kumano Magaibutsu stone carvings.
