OK Fest and Tivat Music Festival Highlight Balkan Music Documentary and Choral Shows

The Jelen OK Fest continues its partnership with the Dok’n’Ritam music documentary film festival, presenting three selected documentaries in the OK Cinema Zone under the open sky of Tjentište in the Sutjeska National Park. The featured films – "Čovek Lavina" (portrait of drummer Dragoljub Đuričić), "Treći svijet" (meditation on the founders of Haustor) and "Underground Top lista" (exploring funeral music in Croatia) – illustrate the festival’s aim to promote regional music documentary cinema.

At the Tivat Music Festival in Montenegro, the "Nasljeđe u zvuku" segment opened with a concert by Slovenia’s renowned chamber choir AVE, conducted by Ambrož Čopi. The choir performed a program ranging from Renaissance to contemporary works, drawing applause from the audience and underscoring the festival’s mission to foster artistic dialogue across Balkan music traditions.
