ŽOK Kaštel celebrates 30 years of volleyball in Pribislavec

The Women's Volleyball Club (ŽOK) Kaštel celebrated its 30th anniversary in Pribislavec, marking three decades of athletic development and community connection. Founded on August 18, 1996, at the initiative of professor Franje Novak, the club has evolved from competing in the third Croatian volleyball league to becoming a stable competitor in the 1. B National League.

During the celebration, club president Marko Jelenić honored the club's history and its founders. Notable milestones included the 2017/2018 season, where the team won the 2. A National League to earn promotion, and a recent undefeated season in 2025/26 that secured a return to the 1. B league with 25 consecutive victories.

The club currently manages over one hundred young athletes across various categories, including mini and small volleyball, as well as U11 and U13 age groups. Coaches Marko and Željka Obadić emphasized that the club's primary value lies in teaching responsibility, teamwork, and friendship to successive generations of girls through the sport.
