Okayama City businesses announce multiple closures

Several businesses in Okayama City's Kita Ward have announced or completed their closures.

Domino's Pizza Okayama Tamachi closed on August 30, 2026. This closure removes a delivery pizza option from the central area of Okayama City. The specific future use for the location at the Tamachi intersection has not yet been confirmed.

Maneki Eco Okayama Minami, an outlet food specialty store that opened in June 2022, is scheduled to close on September 29, 2026. The store, which sold discounted items due to short expiration dates or packaging damage, is currently holding a closing sale with 20% off all items.

Additionally, the ramen shop Menya Rakucho closed on September 2, 2026, after operating for approximately 10 years. The establishment, located in the Omotecho area, announced its sudden closure via Instagram.
