Okayama University of Science students volunteer for police cybersecurity workshop

Students from Okayama University of Science participated as volunteer instructors in an internet security workshop organized by the Okayama Prefectural Police. Held at a local elementary school, the session targeted approximately 110 children and parents.

Using a quiz format, the student volunteers educated attendees on topics such as the dangers of online defamation, the importance of verifying AI-generated content, and password security. Police officers also provided guidance on legal implications regarding privacy violations and online harassment to ensure children understand internet morality.
