Okazaki Rakunoyu to host Pink Ribbon breast cancer awareness event

Okazaki Rakunoyu, operated by Nakashiro Co., Ltd., will host the ‘PINK RIBBON SENTO’ event throughout October 2026 to promote breast cancer awareness and early detection.

The initiative, themed ‘Noticing my body in the bath,’ aims to encourage self-checks and medical screenings by utilizing the daily bathing routine. During the month-long event, the facility will offer a ‘Pink Bath’ in the open-air baths and a ‘Pink Salt Sauna’ using pink-colored salt.

In collaboration with Okazaki City, the facility will also host a lecture on breast cancer led by public health nurses from the Okazaki City Public Health Center on October 27, 2026. This event is part of the facility’s ‘Sustenabro’ initiative to address local social issues through community-based bathing services.
