OKI Microline 6300 printer driver released for AmigaOS

A new dedicated AmigaOS printer driver has been released for the OKI Microline 6300 (ML6300FB-SC) 24-pin flatbed dot-matrix printer. While AmigaOS can utilize generic Epson drivers for this hardware, this specific driver enables access to the printer’s unique features.

The driver supports all eleven letter-quality typefaces available on the ML6300, as well as OKI-specific 15 and 20 CPI pitches and double-height printing. It also allows for 24-pin graphics bit-image dumps at resolutions up to 360 x 360 dpi. The package includes the ‘OKIPrinter’ preferences editor for SYS:Prefs to manage custom text defaults and resolution settings.
