Oki Rengga involved in verbal dispute with supporters at PSMS Medan match

Actor and comedian Oki Rengga was filmed engaging in a verbal altercation with PSMS Medan supporters at the Sumatra Utara Main Stadium during a match against Persija Jakarta.

The dispute reportedly began when Oki Rengga objected to a group of supporters attempting to unfurl a banner criticizing forest and land fires (karhutla) in Kalimantan during the game. According to circulating reports, Oki suggested that such banners should be displayed after the match concludes to ensure the focus remains on supporting the team. There were also concerns that displaying the banner during the match could lead to sanctions from the PSSI Disciplinary Committee.

Following the viral video of the incident, Oki Rengga issued an apology via his Instagram account, stating he may have acted excessively due to his excitement at being back in the stadium.
