Okinawa Churashima Foundation to exhibit at Tourism EXPO Japan 2026

The Okinawa Churashima Foundation has announced its participation in Tourism EXPO Japan 2026, scheduled to take place at Tokyo Big Sight from September 24 to 27, 2026. The foundation aims to promote the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Okinawa through various exhibits and interactive experiences.

Key attractions at the exhibition will include Shuri Castle Park, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, the Tropical Dream Center (Churashima Botanical Garden), and the Marine Culture Museum. The event will feature special programming, such as lectures on dolphins, live broadcasts from the Churaumi Aquarium’s ‘Kuroshio Sea’ tank, and photo opportunities with figures representing the King and Queen at Shuri Castle Park.

The expo is divided into two segments: business matching sessions for industry professionals on September 24 and 25, and public viewing days on September 26 and 27. The foundation seeks to use this platform to facilitate information exchange and promote the utilization of its various facilities to drive regional revitalization.
