Okinawa Harborview Hotel completes major renovation
The Okinawa Harborview Hotel has completed an extensive renovation of its entire facility to mark its 50th anniversary. A grand reopening is scheduled for summer 2026.
Key updates include modernized guest rooms designed with Ryukyu-indigo themes to provide a sense of calm and warmth. The hotel has also expanded its Club Lounge, which is now the largest in Naha. Additionally, the garden pool has been fully renewed and is set to reopen on June 1, 2026.
On the culinary front, the hotel’s Teppanyaki Izumizaki has become the first restaurant within an Okinawa Prefecture hotel to be certified for serving Kobe beef. The dining experience aims to blend authentic Okinawan culture with high-end gastronomy by serving local and Kobe beef on traditional ceramics.
