Oklahoma Baptist beats Southern Arkansas 38-20 in season opener

Oklahoma Baptist opened its 2026 season with a 38-20 victory over Southern Arkansas in the GAC opener at Crain Family Stadium. After Southern Arkansas took an early lead, the Bison offense and defense shifted the momentum.

Oklahoma Baptist secured a 24-20 halftime lead following a 42-yard interception return for a touchdown by Jeremiah Jennings and a touchdown pass from Brady Bricker to Nick Harris. The Bison defense held Southern Arkansas scoreless in the second half, while the offense added touchdowns through Jason Ceniti to Kai Helton and a fumble return by Jordan Garcia to seal the win.
