Oklahoma City Thunder sign Micah Peavy to two-way contract

The Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to a two-way contract with free agent wing Micah Peavy. Peavy, a 25-year-old guard/forward, joins the team following his release by the Memphis Grizzlies during a roster reduction.

Peavy was selected 40th overall in the 2025 NBA draft by the Washington Wizards and was subsequently traded to the New Orleans Pelicans. During his rookie season with New Orleans, he averaged 4.3 points and 1.9 rebounds in 61 appearances. Before his professional career, Peavy played collegiate basketball for Texas Tech, TCU, and Georgetown, where he earned first-team All-Big East honors.

The signing will require the Thunder to use one of their three available two-way slots, currently occupied by Brooks Barnhizer, Josh Dix, and Otega Oweh. Peavy's arrival reunites him with former Georgetown teammate Thomas Sorber.
