Oklahoma State upsets No. 6 Oregon in dramatic college football victory

Unranked Oklahoma State defeated No. 6 Oregon 39-31 in a significant college football upset. Following the victory at Boone Pickens Stadium, celebrating fans tore down the goalposts and carried them to a campus pond.

During the broadcast of the game, ESPN aired a reverse-image highlight of Oklahoma State quarterback Drew Mestemaker, which made the right-handed player appear to be throwing left-handed. The error also included a mirror-imaged scoreboard chyron.

Following the loss, Oregon coach Dan Lanning addressed the absence of starting quarterback Dante Moore from post-game media availability. Lanning clarified that Moore was receiving IVs for dehydration and cramping due to extreme heat and was not personally choosing to avoid reporters.
