Okta addresses security and governance for agentic AI

Okta is addressing the security challenges posed by the transition of agentic AI from experimentation to operational use. As AI agents become digital identities within information systems, they require specific access, permissions, and continuous governance to ensure their activities remain controlled.

To manage these risks, Okta is introducing developments in ‘Okta for AI Agents’ to secure connections between agents and corporate tools. Furthermore, following the acquisition of Permiso Security, the company is expanding its identity security capabilities to include behavioral analysis and risk signals to detect and respond to identity-related threats.

Additionally, Auth0 is implementing new capabilities to optimize user journeys and commerce driven by AI.
