Okta Expands Device Trust with Bento MDM and Microsoft Entra ID Integration

Bento MDM announced integration with Okta and Microsoft Entra ID, enabling identity‑based access controls that tie device compliance to user identity. The integration supports Zero Trust policies by allowing corporate resources to be accessed only by devices that meet compliance requirements, with administrators managing policies from the Bento console. "Identity and device management have often been handled as separate problems," said Radu Scarlat, Chairman and CEO of Bento.

Separately, 1Password provides guidance for handling Okta SAML authentication outages that affect Device Trust. It recommends establishing break‑glass rules and shared super‑admin credentials so administrators can quickly regain access to the Okta admin console and bypass Device Trust requirements during an outage.
