Oktoberfest celebrations scheduled in Cyprus and Malaysia

Various regions are hosting Oktoberfest celebrations, blending German traditions with local culture.

In Nicosia, Cyprus, the 15th annual Septemberfest Nicosia Beer Fun Festival is scheduled to take place from September 1st to September 7th, 2026, at Akadimias Park in Aglantzia. The event features a lineup of musical performances from artists including Giorgos Sabanis, Locomondo + Ble, and Christos Mastoras & Melisses.

In Penang, the Malaysian-German Society is hosting its Oktoberfest on October 30 and 31. The festival aims to recreate the Bavarian Volksfest atmosphere with a traditional festival tent, German food, and live music from the Bavarian band Frankenräuber.
