Oktoberfest festivals scheduled for Yokohama and Kofu in September 2026

Multiple Oktoberfest celebrations are scheduled to take place in Japan during September 2026, bringing German beer culture and cuisine to different regions.

In Yokohama, the Yokohama Oktoberfest 2026 will be held at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse from September 18 to October 4. This 23rd annual event features over 20 vendors offering more than 100 varieties of beer, including selections from five German-certified breweries. New offerings for this year include a tasting set with an original Noritake beer mug and a 500-yen food menu. The venue is divided into four areas, including a large tent with live German music, an outdoor beer garden, a reserved Hofbräu booth, and a pet-friendly lawn area.

In Yamanashi Prefecture, Oktoberfest Kofu 2026 will run from September 4 to September 13 at Yochabare Hiroba, located near Kofu Station. This event will feature traditional German breweries such as Hofbräu and Hirschbräu, alongside authentic dishes like beef tongue sausages and lamb rump steak. The festival will also include musical performances by Alpine ensembles and traditional dance shows.
