Oktoberfest pretzel vendor survives heart attack

A 47-year-old pretzel vendor was treated for a heart attack during the Oktoberfest in Munich. The medical emergency occurred on a Sunday evening when the man began experiencing difficulty pushing his vendor cart and felt his arms were not functioning correctly.

After seeking help at the festival's medical station, doctors diagnosed a 'textbook heart attack' in the acute treatment room. Medical staff noted that the rapid chain of treatment likely saved the man's life. He was subsequently transported to a clinic in Munich for further medical care.
