Okuda named ‘Sorropotunero Mayor’ for La Barquera festivities

Visual artist Okuda will be named ‘Sorropotunero Mayor’ during the festivities of La Barquera and El Mozucu. The San Vicente de la Barquera City Council has organized an extensive program of activities running from Friday, September 4, to September 11.

The schedule includes a tribute concert to Extremoduro, performances by Manu Tenorio and the orchestra Versus, and various community events such as a veterans' football tournament, a religious procession for the Virgin of La Barquera, and the traditional Sorropotún celebration on September 9.
