Okura Prestige unveils Mid-Autumn mooncake collections
Okura Prestige has launched its Mid-Autumn Festival mooncake collection, featuring a blend of Cantonese-style and Japanese Momoyama-style confectionery.
The ‘Akizuki Shiori’ collection offers Cantonese-style mooncakes in five flavors, including longan walnut, pistachio chocolate, and varieties incorporating local Taiwanese ingredients such as Tainan Madou pomelo and Oriental Beauty tea. These are presented in elegant gift boxes designed with lunar and floral motifs.
The ‘Eigetsu Shunsai’ collection focuses on Japanese Momoyama-style mooncakes, characterized by a delicate, soft crust. This set includes flavors such as strawberry custard, chocolate pistachio, red guava lemon, and Thai milk tea.
Additionally, the ‘Yuzu Kaun’ single mooncake option highlights local Tainan Madou pomelo with a chewy center, packaged in a celadon-green box inspired by traditional aesthetics.
