Ola passengers in Delhi report massive fare discrepancy

Passengers in Delhi reported a significant discrepancy in a ride-hailing fare provided by Ola. A group traveling from Mahipalpur to Yashobhoomi for an exhibition, and later to Indira Gandhi International Airport, reported that a booking originally displaying a base fare of Rs 1,285 resulted in a final bill of Rs 5,662.

The passengers, who had booked the vehicle for six hours and approximately 60 km, claimed the final charge was more than four times the initial estimate. According to the passengers, the app charged them for an additional 240.5 km that they did not travel. The group expressed extreme disappointment and noted difficulty in reaching Ola’s customer service over the weekend to resolve the issue.
