Olaf Tufte named Participant of the Year at Reality Awards

At the annual Reality Awards held in Oslo, the late Olaf Tufte was posthumously named ‘Participant of the Year’ for his appearance in the series ‘Helvetesuka’. His widow, Aina Tufte, accepted the award on his behalf alongside their children and his parents.

Tufte, a former Olympic winner, passed away suddenly on July 21 at the age of 50. During his participation in ‘Helvetesuka’, a military-inspired reality series, he was noted for his inclusive and warm personality. Aina Tufte remarked that the program showcased the real Olaf, noting he was a person who ‘lifts others and wants others well,’ even when exhausted.

The ceremony, now in its fifth year, was hosted by Se og Hør at the Embassy in Oslo. In addition to Tufte's individual honor, ‘Helvetesuka’ was also awarded the title of ‘Character-driven Reality Program of the Year’.
