Olam Agri enters ruminant nutrition market with Tru Value cattle feed

Olam Agri has expanded its Integrated Feed & Protein (IFP) business by entering the ruminant nutrition market with the launch of its Tru Value cattle feed range. Previously focused on poultry and aquaculture, the company is now diversifying its portfolio to include nutritional solutions for cattle, sheep, and goats.

The product line was officially launched in Kaduna State, Nigeria, in the presence of the Minister of Livestock Development, Alhaji Idi Mukhtar Maiha. The expansion aims to support the development of more productive and sustainable cattle farming systems, addressing the rising demand for beef and dairy products in the region.

Sharad Gupta, President & Global Head of Integrated Feed & Protein at Olam Agri, stated that Nigeria serves as the first market for this expansion. The move is intended to strengthen food security and create value across the beef and dairy value chains by providing structured nutritional options for both small-scale and large-scale livestock producers.
