Olavarría gauchos begin 35th pilgrimage to Luján

The Gauchos Peregrinos of the San José de Olavarría parish have begun their 35th pilgrimage toward the Basilica of Luján. Departing from Paseo Jesús Mendía on Wednesday, September 16, the group is expected to travel for nearly ten days, arriving in Luján on Friday, September 25.

The route includes stops in Crotto, Tapalqué, and General Alvear. This journey precedes a major traditionalist celebration at the Sanctuary on September 27, which will feature a gaucho mass, the blessing of gear and emblems, and a traditional parade. The Sanctuary has emphasized the importance of animal welfare and community respect during these festivities.
