Local governments in Argentina and Mexico invest millions in new sports facilities

In Bell Ville, Argentina, the provincial government of Córdoba allocated 290 million pesos in vouchers to support more than 70 local institutions that provide social, cultural, educational and sports activities.

In the municipality of Totolapan, Morelos, Governor Margarita González Saravia inaugurated a covered court at the EMSaD No. 8 school, funded with 3.135 million pesos from the Federal Multiple Contributions Fund, benefiting 160 students.

Chihuahua’s municipal government rehabilitated 20 sports sites – pools, courts, tracks and fields – during June, work carried out by the Institute of Physical Culture and Sport and serving over 45 000 users.
