Olavarría: Municipal vehicle collides with motorcycle on bridge

A municipal transit vehicle collided with a motorcycle on the descent of the Colón Avenue bridge in Olavarría. The accident occurred around 7:30 PM on Tuesday when a Volkswagen Gol belonging to the Municipal Transit area struck a 110cc motorcycle that was stopped on the roadway.

The cause of the motorcycle being stationary is currently under investigation, with potential mechanical failure being considered. The female motorcyclist sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to the ‘Dr. Héctor M. Cura’ Municipal Hospital.

Emergency responders from the Volunteer Firefighters Corps and the Olavarría Patrol Command attended the scene. Traffic heading toward the city center via the bridge was interrupted, with vehicles being diverted to the avenue's collector road.
