Old Mutual Namibia enables rewards point conversion to Unit Trust investments

Old Mutual Namibia has introduced a new feature allowing clients to convert Old Mutual Rewards points directly into Unit Trust investments. This enhancement is designed to facilitate long-term financial growth by enabling members to transform loyalty rewards into investment capital.

Logan Fransman, Group Chief Operating Officer of Old Mutual Namibia, stated that the initiative aims to connect financial wellness with customers’ daily lives and make investing more inclusive and accessible. The company noted that the Old Mutual Rewards programme has reached a milestone where redemptions have exceeded N$5 million in value.

To utilize this feature, clients must have an active Unit Trust account. The conversion process is currently available through the Old Mutual Namibia Rewards web platform, though it is not yet accessible via the mobile application.
