Old School Picnic celebrates first anniversary in Kampala

The Old School Picnic is returning to the Sheraton Kampala Hotel Gardens this Sunday to celebrate its first anniversary. The event marks a growing trend in Kampala’s lifestyle scene, where nostalgia-driven gatherings centered on classic RnB, Soul, and Ugandan music are gaining popularity over traditional club environments.

The anniversary edition will feature live performances by Myko Ouma, Jose Sax, and Lillian Mbabazi, alongside sets from DJs including DJ Ssese, DJ Kasbaby, and Cacie. The event aims to provide a relaxed social atmosphere focused on connection and music from the 1990s and 2000s.
