Old Town Library in Fort Collins celebrates 50 years

The Old Town Library in Fort Collins, Colorado, is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Originally opened in 1976 to replace the smaller Carnegie Library, the facility has served as a central hub for the community for five decades.

To mark the milestone, the library will host a 70s-themed celebration on Saturday, October 17th, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will include the opening of a time capsule from 1976, a cake cutting at 6:15 p.m., and various themed activity stations. While registration is available on the library's website, it is not required for attendance.
