Oldambt residents invited to join National Sustainable House Route

Homeowners in the municipality of Oldambt are invited to participate in the National Sustainable House Route. Residents who have implemented energy-saving measures, such as floor heating or cavity wall insulation, can register to open their homes to visitors.

National open days are scheduled for October 31 and November 7, during which approximately 500 homeowners across the country will showcase their energy-efficient upgrades. The initiative allows visitors to see practical applications firsthand and ask questions directly to residents.

Additionally, a national platform allows participants to create home profiles to share experiences ranging from radiator foil to complete ventilation systems. The program is supported by the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning, the province of Gelderland, and over 100 municipalities, including Oldambt.
