Olde Vechte outdoor pool celebrates 20,000th visitor

Openluchtbad Olde Vechte in Ommen has reached a significant milestone by welcoming its 20,000th visitor of the season. The milestone visitor, Abdulahi from Ommen, was surprised by secretary Age Koster with a yearly subscription for the 2027 season.

To celebrate the successful season, the outdoor pool organized a promotional event in the center of Ommen. On the morning of August 15, 55 rubber ducks were hidden throughout the town. Participants who find blue ducks can redeem them for a single free entry, while those who find green ducks win a gift voucher for four swimming sessions. The prizes can be redeemed at the pool through the end of the 2026 season.
