OldPlayer Tour Masters finals moved online after Kyiv attack

The LAN finals of the OldPlayer Tour Masters Counter-Strike tournament have been canceled following a Russian attack on the venue in Kyiv, Ukraine. The strike caused damage to the facility's infrastructure and the technical equipment prepared for the event.

Organizers stated they evaluated alternatives, including finding a new venue and transporting new equipment, but ultimately decided to move the playoffs to an online format. Due to this change in format, the tournament has lost its VRS status. The organizers emphasized that the safety of the participants is more important than competitive recognition.

The tournament began on August 1 with 16 teams, and eight teams, including Inner Circle Academy, advanced to the playoffs. The online playoffs are scheduled to take place between August 27 and August 29 in a single-elimination format with best-of-three matches. The total prize pool is $4,000, with $2,000 awarded to the winner.
