Ole Miss and Seattle Seahawks face roster challenges

Ole Miss secured a 41-9 victory against Charlotte, utilizing 77 players during the game. Notably, several starters did not participate, including right tackle Tommy Kinsler IV and defensive backs Antonio Kite and Sharif Denson. Coach Pete Golding addressed the absence of the defensive backs, noting that while their absence creates more moving parts in the secondary, the team must remain consistent. Denson is expected to play next week following an injection, while Kite's availability remains uncertain.

In the NFL, the Seattle Seahawks face challenges with quarterback Sam Darnold sidelined. To support backup Drew Lock, key players such as wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, running back George Holani, and Jadarian Price are expected to increase their production. Shaheed is specifically noted for the need to improve both his offensive targets and his contributions on special teams returns.
