Ole Miss football enters third week of fall camp

The Ole Miss football team has entered the third week of fall camp as they prepare for their 2026 season opener against Louisville. Currently ranked No. 9 in the AP Poll, the Rebels are focusing on roster evaluation and execution.

Defensive coordinator Bryan Brown noted that a recent scrimmage provided a vital opportunity to evaluate player communication and playmaking in a game-like environment without coaching direction. The defensive unit is working to establish a shared pass-rushing identity, with players such as Suntarine Perkins, Kam Franklin, Blake Purchase, and Jonathan Maldonado contributing to the group's development.
