Ole Miss football ranks fifth nationally in TV viewership

Ole Miss football has emerged as a major television draw during the first four weeks of the 2026 season. According to Nielsen data, the Rebels rank fifth nationally in average viewership with 6.235 million viewers per game, trailing only Texas, LSU, Wisconsin, and Ohio State.

A significant boost to these numbers came from a Week 3 victory against LSU, which drew 10.9 million viewers. Even a subsequent 52-28 loss to Florida maintained high interest, attracting 8.29 million viewers.

On the field, the Rebels hold a 3-1 record. Their season includes victories over Louisville, Charlotte, and LSU, though the loss to Florida has raised questions regarding defensive consistency. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss has been a central figure in the team's performance, recording 1,222 passing yards and contributing to the offense's success.
