Ole Miss men's basketball finalizes 2026-27 roster

University of Mississippi head men's basketball coach Chris Beard has finalized the 2026-27 roster, announcing several newcomers and returning players. The roster includes returning members Zach Day, Ilias Kamardine, and Patton Pinkins, alongside new additions such as Adam 'Budd' Clark, Christian Brown, and Stefan Cicic.

However, the additions of Micah Handlogten and Corey Stephenson have raised questions regarding SEC eligibility rules. Both players have previous experience in the NBA Summer League with the Utah Jazz and Detroit Pistons, respectively. While the SEC recently clarified that former professionals are not permitted in the conference, the status of Handlogten and Stephenson remains uncertain.

Coach Beard noted that these additions provide essential depth to a roster that was previously a 'work in progress.' Handlogten, a 7-foot-1-inch forward, brings championship experience from his time with Florida, while Stephenson joins following a productive season at Florida International.
