Ole Miss Rebels defeat Charlotte 49ers 41-9

The Ole Miss Rebels defeated the Charlotte 49ers 41-9 in their first home game of the season. The Rebels maintained a lead from start to finish, though they did not score during the third quarter.

Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss delivered a strong performance, completing 23 of 26 pass attempts for 225 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Deuce Alexander also stood out, recording eight catches for 76 yards. Coach Pete Golding opted to keep starters in the game until the fourth quarter to ensure the victory and fine-tune the offense, a decision driven by a desire to avoid the incomplete game performances seen in their previous matchup against Louisville.

Following the win, the Rebels prepare for a significant upcoming game against LSU.
