Ole Miss Rebels defeat Vanderbilt 52-17 in SEC matchup

No. 9 Ole Miss secured a dominant 52-17 road victory against Vanderbilt at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville. The win served as a crucial bounce-back for the Rebels following a previous loss to Florida.

Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss led the offensive effort, throwing for three touchdowns and rushing for one. The Rebels' defense also played a significant role, forcing four turnovers and limiting Vanderbilt's rushing attack. Notably, defensive lineman Jamarious Brown caught a touchdown pass from Chambliss, and Suntarine Perkins returned a fumble for a touchdown.

The victory snapped Vanderbilt's 10-game home winning streak. For Ole Miss, the win improves their record to 4-1 (2-1 SEC) and provides momentum heading into a difficult upcoming schedule against Missouri and Texas. Running back Kewan Lacy also made his return to the lineup during the contest.
