OLED monitor market grows as QD-OLED prices drop
The global OLED monitor market experienced significant growth in the second quarter of 2026, with shipments increasing by 26.1% compared to the previous quarter and nearly doubling compared to Q2 2025. According to TrendForce, key drivers for this expansion include new model releases, the Chinese '618' shopping festival, and sustained demand from Chinese internet cafes.
Asus currently leads the market with a 23.1% share, followed by Samsung at 13.1% and MSI at 12.8%. Other notable players include AOC and LG Electronics.
Simultaneously, the premium QD-OLED segment is seeing aggressive price reductions due to heightened competition. Major manufacturers such as ASRock, HP, and MSI have implemented substantial discounts. For instance, certain 27-inch QD-OLED models have seen price drops of nearly 50%, while high-end 4K displays have also reached significant price lows on major retail platforms.
