OLED monitors from AOC and ASUS target gamers and creators

New OLED monitor options are emerging for both gaming and professional creative markets. The AOC Q27G4ZD is a 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor featuring a 280 Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 ms response time. Designed for high-speed gameplay such as racing and shooters, it utilizes a Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution to maintain high frame rates. The display includes HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB hub, and DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.

For creative professionals, the ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV offers a 4K color-accurate panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. While it lacks the integrated webcam and 5K sharpness of the Apple Studio Display, it provides more extensive connectivity, a highly adjustable stand, and a more competitive price point. The ASUS model is noted for its versatility in both landscape and portrait orientations.
