The Guardia Civil has arrested a Spanish woman, approximately 50 years old, for suspected drug trafficking in Santa Cristina-Oleiros, A Coruña. The arrest was part of ‘Operation SAMARISA’ and followed a multi-month investigation initiated after local police reported a potential drug sales point in the area.
Authorities state the suspect used her personal belongings to conceal narcotics during transport and distribution, often carrying substances already divided into doses ready for sale. During the operation, agents seized 34 grams of cocaine and 9 grams of hashish, with a combined estimated value of 2,100 euros. Additionally, 150 euros in cash and the vehicle used for the illicit activities were confiscated. The case has been referred to the Court of Instance of A Coruña.
