Oleksandr Usyk visits Montenegro

Ukrainian heavyweight boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk visited Montenegro on September 18 and 19, 2026. During his stay, Usyk visited the Ostrog Monastery and the Embassy of Ukraine in Montenegro, where he met with Ukrainian children, volunteers, and diplomats.

Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić expressed gratitude to the undefeated champion on social media, praising Usyk as a symbol of the ‘unconquerable Ukrainian spirit.’ Spajić thanked the athlete for his positive remarks regarding Montenegro, noting that Usyk’s appreciation helps showcase the country’s beauty to a global audience.
