Oleksandr Zinchenko returns to Ajax training to recover from injury
Oleksandr Zinchenko has returned to training with Ajax in Amsterdam as he nears the final stages of recovery from a severe knee injury. The 29-year-old Ukrainian international, who is currently without a club, is utilizing the club's facilities to regain full fitness.
Ajax manager Míchel expressed support for the versatile player, noting that the club invited Zinchenko to train with the squad due to his previous contributions and the circumstances surrounding his injury. While Zinchenko is participating in group sessions, the club has not yet made any decisions regarding a new contract or a long-term future with the team.
Zinchenko, who has previously played for Manchester City, Arsenal, and Nottingham Forest, as well as a loan spell at PSV, is working toward a comeback following an injury sustained during his time in Amsterdam.
