Olfen roundabout to undergo renovation and partial closure

The roundabout located between Eckernkamp and Kökelsumer Straße in Olfen will undergo renovation starting Monday, September 28. The Coesfeld District has announced that the roundabout on Kreisstraße 8 will be partially closed until approximately Friday, October 2.

Access points via Eckernkamp and Kökelsumer Straße will be closed, and detour routes will be signposted on-site. While local residents can still access their properties up to the construction site, through-traffic must use the designated detours.

Traffic between Eversumer Straße and Funnenkampstraße will remain partially passable, with a construction traffic light managing alternating passage. The renovation is being conducted under warranty, meaning no costs will be incurred by the district authority.
