Olga Mancurti drives 7,900 km solo to Lapland at age 83

Olga Mancurti, an 83-year-old former nurse from Fano, Italy, recently completed a solo road trip of approximately 7,600 to 7,900 kilometers to reach Lapland. Driving her Porsche, she traveled through Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Sweden, and Finland.

Mancurti noted that the lack of snow in Lapland diminished the region's charm. This journey is part of a lifelong history of solo travel; she has previously visited locations including South America, Japan, and Australia, and has learned up to six languages. She began driving at age nine and continues to plan new adventures.
